The Beginnings

We came together in late 2011, a group of fine gentlemen from various musical groups around the New York area. We looked to push the boundaries of sound, find that barrel aged, high hopped blend that would get people out of their comfort zone and into a new sonic experience. A few years later, here we are, world. Get at us.

The Voices

The Voices

Will
Moller

Tenor 1

Will is a founding member of Low Key, and sings Tenor one. He's been singing since age six, moving from choir to a cappella to glee club. At Kenyon, Will was a member of the Kokosingers. While he is involved in several musical groups in the New York area, Low Key is his baby and main musical passion. When he's not singing, he is either working with financial markets, poring over baseball statistics, or out enjoying the hipster culinary scene.

Josh
Springer

Tenor 2

Needing to find a way to survive NYC's public school system, Josh persevered through song, singing in school choirs, musicals, a cappella groups, and the NYC All-City High School Chorus. When he made his escape to Oneonta, he was among the first members of SUNY Oneonta’s a cappella group, Hooked on Tonics. Josh has sung with NYC a cappella group, Ten and Change, and joined Low Key in 2013. When he's not busy singing, he's developing websites, practicing the arts of a social media ninja, playing Blizzard games, and having mild heart attacks watching Mets baseball.

Adam
Zamora

Tenor 2

Adam is a founding member of Low Key and the group's resident loudmouth and barbershop expert. A born and bred New Yorker, Adam began singing musical theatre in high school before acquiring an insatiable thirst for a cappella with the Williams College Springstreeters. These days, Adam is a member of the University Glee Club, among other groups. Adam is currently earning his doctorate in clinical psychology, and spends his free time either tutoring the youth of America or sampling new craft beers.  But never at the same time.

Evan
Feist

Baritone / VP

Evan has been working in a cappella since his obsession began in 9th grade. After college, Evan received two Masters degrees from Columbia University, Teachers College before working with NBC’s The Voice as a vocal coach. As a songwriter and producer, Evan has been working with songwriters and artists since 2009 through Stacks of Wax. In his spare time, Evan loves working with a cappella groups of all ages, teaching vocal improvisation and spontaneous songwriting with his company, Creative Vocal Lab. Evan has received two New York Musical Theatre awards, studied with Bobby McFerrin, and loves the rule of three.

Sam
Orleans

Baritone

Sam is a founding member of Low Key and has been singing and performing as early as 4th grade, performing at venues like Symphony Hall, Tanglewood, The Kennedy Center, and Carnegie Hall. When not crooning sweet baritone notes or trying desperately to nail intricate solo riffs, Sam is a freelance recording and mix engineer working in recording studios in the city, including Jimi Hendrix’s world famous Electric Lady Studios.

Mike
Ogurick

Bass

Mike began singing (bass) when he was in diapers. Seriously. Diapers. While Mike spends most of the day working at an ad agency, he has sung Bass with several New York choirs, quartets, glee clubs and a cappella groups for over a decade.  He began singing with Low Key in 2012, and is sincerely uplifted by our ability to connect with each other through music.
